Join Our Team as a Hematology Oncologist in Clinton, IA

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Oncologist/Hematologist for a full-time position at our well-established practice in Clinton, Iowa. This role offers you the opportunity to work in a modern facility attached to the hospital, with strong support from a dedicated team, making it an ideal environment for both professional growth and quality patient care.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide coverage primarily at our facility in Clinton; potential rotation to Genesis Health System in Davenport.
  • Split time between Hematology (30%) and Medical Oncology (70%).
  • Handle minimal after-hour calls via phone only.
  • Manage an average of 30 patients per day, focusing on adult and geriatric populations.
  • Allocate 30 minutes for new patient visits and 15 minutes for follow-ups.
  • Work alongside a team of four RNs, MA, CNA, and a receptionist.
  • Utilize hospitalist coverage for infusions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with a strong primary care network for seamless internal referrals.
  • Participate in the ongoing efforts towards Cancer Commission accreditation.
Qualifications
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Medical Oncology.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology.
  • Active IA license or willingness to obtain.
  • Clean malpractice history preferred.
  • Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days).
License and Certification Requirements
  • Board certification in Medical Oncology and Hematology (required).
  • Iowa State License (or willing to obtain) (required).
  • Documentation proving eligibility for visa support if necessary (J1 or H1B).
