Job Summary Administrative Contract Analyst – Department of Transportation. This limited‑term (2 years, may become permanent) position supports contract resource allocation, invoice reviews, and issue resolution for DES contracts.

Responsibilities

Assist with allocation and monitoring of DES resources related to contracts to maintain compliance with allocated resources.

Review and resolve invoice issues for assigned contracts.

Work under the general direction of the Chief, Contract Management Support Branch and the Staff Services Manager I.

Utilize video monitors, computer equipment, and software (e.g., Microsoft 365, Excel, Filemaker) to perform duties.

Maintain accurate records and communicate status updates to stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

Salary: $3,861.00 – $6,276.00 per month (minimum to alternate range for New to State candidates).

Staff Services Analyst Level (A, B, C) – see Class Specification for full details.

Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) required – typed, 2 pages, single‑spaced, 12‑point Arial.

Eligibility for hire determined by Staff Services Analyst exam or current state civil services eligibility.

Describe in detail your experience and qualifications related to this position, emphasizing accounting, auditing, budgeting, and contract management.

Provide examples demonstrating your use of Microsoft 365 Excel, Filemaker, or other accounting databases, including the purpose of the applications.

Describe professional experience with research, writing, developing guidance, instructional memos, and manual procedures.
