Join our Team of Servant Leaders at the brand new Tom & Mary Schultz YMCA in Watertown, WI.
This full-time opportunity provides variety in your work week supporting various program areas primarily in School Age Child Care and Special Programs. Opportunities to support other departments throughout the YMCA might also be available based on your interests and skills.
40 hours per week work schedule will vary Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00AM & 6:00PM . Willingness to work other days/hours based upon program need is appreciated.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Experience in children’s programming/education, preferred.
Interest in working with individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities.
Willingness to learn best practices related to working with individuals with disabilities.
Knowledge of state licensing and Young Star accreditation requirements, preferred.
Attend staff meetings, training, and obtain additional certification as requested.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Physical aspects of the position include, but not limited to: walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting. This position requires constant motion, with little to no sitting.
