Description This position supports the establishment of F-35 Component Depot Repair capabilities and the expansion of the sustainment network of repair sources. The candidate will:

What You Will Be Doing

Manage depot capability activation projects from proposal through completion

Coordinate and integrate with customer and supplier stakeholders

Work with cross‑functional teams to analyze supplier/depot data to develop and execute plans

Report and manage progress, challenges, and milestone completions for multiple parallel projects

Identify and mitigate project risks

Baseline, execute, and hold accountability for project schedules to achieve on‑time delivery of capabilities

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience/combined education

Background in Military, Defense, or aviation maintenance

Experience with technical data

Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed, cross‑functional teams (engineering, logistics, quality)

Excellent written and oral communication skills; comfortable presenting to internal and external leadership

Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position requires a government security clearance

Up to 30% domestic/international travel required for project milestone execution

Desired Skills

At least 3 years of project management in aerospace/defense

Demonstrated success delivering multi‑year, multi‑budget contracts (e.g., IDIQ, Cost‑Plus‑Award‑Fee) that include both infrastructure and technical elements

Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent (IPMA Level A/B, DoD PM). Earned Value Management (EVM) certification preferred. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher highly desirable

Proficient in Tableau; XML coding

Active Secret Security Clearance

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance and you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely:

Part‑time remote telework: selected employee may work part of the schedule remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week to condensed schedules.
