Shop Hand - Yard Maintenance
to help maintain the cleanliness and organization of our fleet, shop, and yard. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, efficient, and professional work environment for our mechanics and employees. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing physical tasks both indoors and outdoors.
Job Description As a Shop Hand that is solely involved in fleet, shop, and yard maintenance at
TTK Enterprises, LLC , you will be responsible for keeping the shop, yard, and fleet areas clean, organized, and well-maintained. This role does not involve mechanical repairs but focuses on supporting daily operations by maintaining a safe and orderly facility. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy hands-on, physical tasks in a team-oriented environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform pressure washing of vehicles, equipment, shop floors, and yard areas daily
Ensure walkways, entrances, and work areas remain safe and free of hazards
Clean, maintain, and organize the shop, including floors and work areas
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the yard, including parking areas, storage zones, and equipment locations
Wash and detail all fleet vehicles and equipment, including interior and exterior cleaning
Dispose of trash, scrap materials, and debris properly
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Assist with other general labor and cleanup tasks as needed to support shop operations
Required Skills
Strong work ethic and reliability
Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
Ability to work quickly while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to safely use basic cleaning tools and equipment
Preferred Skills
Previous experience in shop, yard, fleet, or vehicle cleaning roles
Experience washing and detailing vehicles or heavy equipment
Familiarity with pressure washers and industrial cleaning equipment
Experience working in an automotive, fleet, or industrial environment
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift heavy objects as required
Prior general labor or maintenance experience is a plus but not required
