Job Description and Duties The Information Technology Specialist (ITS) I is an integral member of the Bimodal Support Unit, responsible for designing, developing, configuring, customizing, integrating supporting technologies/platforms such as Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Tableau, Salesforce, ServiceNow and providing daily maintenance and operations support. Under the direction of the Information Technology Supervisor II, the primary function is to administer and support Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Pipeline integration and Application Life-cycle Management tools in alignment with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and administering SDLC tools, resolving complex technical problems, and supporting the development team.
Major Functions
Establish technical specifications and standards, perform complex systems analysis, and resolve technical problems.
Develop system performance standards and engineering architectural solutions.
Work collaboratively with program customers and IT teams.
Lead or advise IT staff in all phases of the system development life cycle.
Lead enterprise‑scale IT projects involving cross‑functional teams and platform integration.

Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle.
Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required. Follow the instructions below.
The SOQ must be typed, no more than two pages, 12‑point Arial font. Each question must be numbered and addressed in the same order. An SOQ not following the instructions may be disqualified.
SOQ Sample Questions:
Describe your experience administering different enterprise tools or platform.
Describe your experience identifying business problems, evaluating solutions, and providing recommendations to impacted stakeholders.
Describe a situation where you supported or implemented a technical solution that required coordination across multiple teams. How did you align requirements, manage competing priorities, and ensure effective communication throughout?
