Our client is seeking a Supervisor, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to lead the deployment, stabilization, and long‑term support of a modern ERP platform. This role provides hands‑on leadership for ERP support staff and external service partners while coordinating closely with cross‑functional business teams to ensure reliable, compliant, and scalable system operations. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical ERP expertise, people leadership, and strong governance discipline in regulated environments.
This role is a hybrid model working onsite 4 days a week in Houston, Texas.
Supervisor, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Responsibilities
Provide day‑to‑day leadership and oversight for ERP support staff and third‑party managed service providers supporting the enterprise ERP environment.
Lead planning, execution, and coordination of ERP enhancements, upgrades, and maintenance activities, including defining timelines, assigning ownership, and monitoring progress.
Serve as the primary escalation point for ERP‑related operational issues, driving timely root‑cause analysis and resolution across technical and business stakeholders.
Partner with functional teams to gather requirements, support testing, and implement approved system changes during scheduled release cycles.
Ensure ERP operations, controls, and support processes align with internal governance standards and SOX compliance requirements.
Track, document, and report on ERP support metrics, open issues, and remediation activities to assess effectiveness and system health.
Contribute to the development of ERP‑related documentation, procedures, and training materials to support users and support teams.
Supervisor, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
At least 5 years of experience delivering full lifecycle ERP implementations, with a minimum of 2 years in a people management or supervisory role.
Hands‑on experience supporting Oracle‑based ERP platforms across core modules such as Financials, HCM, Supply Chain, EPM, or Project‑focused solutions.
Demonstrated experience designing or supporting system integrations, reporting solutions, and enterprise‑level issue resolution.
Strong background partnering with Accounting, Finance, and operational teams to implement new processes, tools, and system enhancements.
Experience operating ERP systems in SOX‑regulated or otherwise highly controlled environments; experience in publicly traded or regulated industries is strongly preferred.
Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, build trust across teams, and lead through change in dynamic environments.
Eligibility to work under applicable U.S. regulatory requirements related to controlled technical environments.
