Transportation / Logistics Manager
We are immediately hiring a Transportation / Logistics Manager in Nashville, TN for our Supply Chain Solutions division.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid twice per month
Annual Salary: $90,000 (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday 6:00 am–3:30 pm

Summary The Manager Logistics is responsible for managing all activities associated with the efficient operation of accounts, including P&L responsibility, ensuring customer satisfaction, compliance, employee relations, and safety.
Essential Functions
Manage performance of salaried and hourly employees; resolve performance issues and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine needs, expectations and operate the account to meet demands.
Be responsible for payroll of employees.
Analyze weekly and monthly P&L statements to determine account profitability; provide financial data and weekly operations reports to senior management.
Handle accounts payable, vendor quotes for purchased materials, and customer invoicing.
Hold Safety & Security meetings, provide safety training and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Additional Responsibilities
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must be available to work on a flexible schedule across various work shifts.

Bilingual (English and French) for Quebec locations only.

Computer literate; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Word).
Advanced knowledge of transportation and/or warehouse logistics operations.
Advanced knowledge of safety and security requirements.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
Three (3) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field required.
Two (2) years or more managing and leading direct reports required.
Excellent knowledge of transportation and/or warehouse logistics operations (advanced required).
Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements (advanced required).
Travel None.
