Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Will, Grundy, Kankakee and Livingston Counties of Illinois for a Property Manager. The Property Manager will oversee the daily operations of residential and/or commercial properties, including tenant relations, lease agreements, property maintenance, and financial management. Responsibilities also include coordinating repairs, ensuring compliance with property laws, enforcing lease terms, preparing budgets, and managing occupancy rates. The role requires effective communication with tenants, contractors, and team members to ensure a positive property experience.
Qualifications
Property Management, Operations Management, and Lease Administration skills
Ability to handle Property Maintenance and Facilities Coordination tasks
Knowledge of Budgeting, Financial Reporting, and Rent Collection
Strong Communication, Tenant Relations, and Negotiation skills
Problem-Solving, Organizational Skills, and Attention to Detail
Proficiency in Property Management Software (e.g., Buildium, AppFolio) is a plus
Understanding of Local Property Laws and Regulations
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred but
Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation or similar certifications is an advantage
2+ years of property management experience
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
