Job Description
Reviews Duty Invoices for accuracy and approves for payment
Provides detail entry summary to third party brokerage firm for computed value
Reconciliation process
Provides detail entry summary monthly to Finance for duty cross charging to corporate headquarters
Coordinates year end deliveries to meet working capital objectives of parent company and transitions business
Provides documentation as required by auditors quarterly
Acts as backup for team roles
Compliance
Adheres to regulatory requirements for entry documentation and electronic retention
Ensures supplying facilities adhere to US Customs requirement as documented in the CTPAT program
Ensures accuracy and completeness of ACE portal (US Customs software)
Coordinates with parent company on scope of compliance activity performed on transitions' behalf
Key Requirements (Education and Experience)
3-5 years of experience in US import & logistics
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail
Advanced Excel skills, proficiency in all Microsoft Office
Knowledge of international freight management
Knowledge of US import regulations
Ability to handle multiple projects, set priorities and drive results in a fast paced, changing environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
