Mentoring Alliance
We are seeking ministry‑mindful individuals to join our After School team. The Daycare Teacher’s primary role is to foster youth development in an after‑school setting by leading elementary students in enrichment activities. The position is part‑time (average 17–20 hours per week) and non‑exempt.
As a Christian ministry, we are devoted to serving kids and families by offering inspirational care and educational activities. Our team members are called to influence and impact the lives of children and families as part of our mission and vision.
Qualifications
Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
Must be at least 17 years of age; high school diploma or GED preferred, with post‑secondary training highly preferred
Passionate about working with elementary school‑aged children
Experience with elementary school‑aged children preferred
Able to work Monday‑Friday 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
Must earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
Pass mandatory background/sex‑offender check
Valid driver’s license or valid ID
Legally allowed to work in the United States
Have dependable transportation
Spanish‑speaking ability valued
