Heat Treat Operator

Job Location: In-Person, $18-$29.50/Hour (Depending on Experience), 2nd Shift (Training on 1st Shift), Monday-Friday, Full-Time, Excellent Benefits
Our client is a well-established manufacturing organization, and they want you to join their team as a
Heat Treat Operator .
Primary Responsibilities as a Heat Treat Operator:
Set up, operate, and tend to heat treating equipment and processes
Monitor temperature and timing of heating cycles to achieve specific Rockwell hardness
Monitor furnaces, tempering ovens, nitrogen generator, controls, and amperage
Prepare and load baskets and perform sample cutting using cut-off saws
Operate Rockwell testers, straighten heat-treated materials, and inspect production parts
Dismantle and repair furnace and tempering ovens
Perform basic data entry for job tracking purposes Skills and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; prior heat treat experience preferred
Ability to work in a high heat/high humidity environment, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for full shifts (8+ hours)
Strong attention to detail and ability to learn technical procedures
Dependable work ethic with a focus on safety and quality
