Description
JOB OBJECTIVE
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company’s inventory through the accurate processing of manufacturing orders and material movement forms.
JOB SUMMARY
Timely processing of manufacturing orders and other documentation to increase stock levels of finished goods and decrease raw material levels used in production, including interaction with other departments as needed
Assist with coordination of physical inventory and cycle counting, including identification, resolution, and documentation of inventory problems and troubleshooting for timely solutions and long-term solutions for continuous improvement
Work with Warehouse Manager and Materials Control Coordinator to identify and investigate inventory discrepancies and documentation errors
Document and process rejected and imperfect product from Production
Process warehouse returns, including ensuring correct documentation and return to appropriate bin location
Work in production, shipping, and fulfillment as needed
Cross-train in receiving function
Follow all company polices and procedures for safety, quality, and sanitation with regard to personnel, maintenance, and equipment
May be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week periodically as business needs require
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements EXPECTATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong computer skills with knowledge of ERP systems preferred
3+ years experience in production environment with understanding of processes, materials management, and documentation
Strong communication skills with ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis and to stand for several hours at a time
