Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full‑time Airframe Structures Design Engineer for the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) in Fort Worth, Texas. A successful candidate will apply technical expertise in developing solutions to aircraft structural design problems. Responsibilities
Creation and/or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents. Contributing to developing, testing, and validating aircraft structural designs. Assisting in creating system requirements, trade studies, statements of work, and test plans. Coordination with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), with some interaction with external IPTs and suppliers. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering. Experience with 3DX, CATIA, Solidworks, or equivalent 3‑D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool. Experience creating and/or modifying drawings. Desired Skills
More than 5 years experience in aerospace vehicle development. Experience with 3DX or CATIA V5. Experience with Fibersim. Experience using Teamcenter. Experience with metallic and composite design. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a collaborative and team‑based environment. Security Clearance Statement
