PDS Tech Commercial is seeking skilled Aviation Maintenance Technicians to join our team in partnership with a leader in the aerospace industry. This is your opportunity to make a direct impact on military warfighter readiness by performing essential maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) work that ensures aircraft safety, performance, and mission success.

What You’ll Do As an Aviation Maintenance Technician, you’ll work hands‑on in a fast‑paced MRO environment supporting the repair and overhaul of F18‑EF flight controls and other critical aircraft structures. You’ll ensure precision workmanship and maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

Perform structural repairs and modifications on strike fighters, commercial derivative aircraft, and flight control components.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals to execute precise repairs.

Drill and measure to within .001–.003 tolerances.

Identify, install, and remove fasteners such as rivets, hi‑locks, bolts, and lock bolts.

Apply aircraft finishes, including primer, paint, sealants, and Alodine treatments.

Use specialized tools such as micrometers, dial calipers, and bore gauges to ensure accuracy.

Maintain detailed maintenance documentation and technical logs.

Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience as an Aircraft Mechanic (commercial, defense, or trade apprenticeship).

3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Proficiency in precision drilling and measurement within .003 tolerance.

Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to ITAR and/or EAR. These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies to U.S. Persons and certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with metallic and composite structures.

Knowledge of Airworthiness Directives, Technical Directives, and Service Bulletins.

Familiarity with aircraft jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
