Position Summary Tired of working crazy hours in hot attics? This role may be for you. Monday through Friday 8-5 with very limited on-call duties. CTRG Holdings is seeking a skilled and reliable HVACR and Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems, as well as general building maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a proactive approach to problem‑solving, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair HVACR systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, ventilation units, and refrigeration equipment.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and building infrastructure.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and system performance.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls.
Assist with general building maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with contractors and vendors as needed for specialized repairs or installations.
Monitor and manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
Qualifications
MUST HAVE A STELLAR DRIVING RECORD
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in HVACR or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVACR and general maintenance.
Valid HVACR certification (EPA Section 608 or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and building operations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions.
Preferred Skills
Experience with building automation systems (BAS).
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
OSHA safety training or certification.
