Maintenance Technician II
( P00864 ) in
Facility (Maintenance) . We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community.
What You’ll Do As
Maintenance Technician II , you’ll play a key role in creating a safe and efficient environment at the Institute.
Perform preventive maintenance on buildings and equipment. Perform any carpentry/masonry related duty to make any necessary repairs or modifications as needed.
Repair, maintain, and install electrical systems, plumbing systems, and their components.
Operate, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and components including building automation systems.
Operate, maintain, and repair vehicles including tractors, forklifts, boom lifts, loaders, large trucks, and motorized carts. Maintain and repair all small equipment used in the maintenance area. Supervise temporary help, perform concrete work, lock repairs and move equipment and furniture as needed.
Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success.
Graduation from a standard high school or equivalent diploma.
Four years of experience in at least two of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, electronics, and carpentry/masonry.
