Position: Behavioral Health Therapist I

Facility: BayCare Behavioral Health
Location: New Port Richey – covers all of Pasco County
Status: Full‑time, Exempt: Yes
Shift Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Weekend Work: Occasional
On‑Call: Yes, rotating on call
Responsibilities
Meeting with patients to complete psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, as well as individual, group and family therapy as appropriate.
Conducting case management activities and discharge planning, maintaining appropriate documentation.
Providing therapeutic and educational interventions, services and knowledge about community resources.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Master's prepared in Clinical Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
Valid driver’s license.
LMFT, LMHC or LCSW license.
2 years of clinical related experience or 9‑month internship (required).
1 year of relevant experience with Master’s (required).
Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse (required).
Preferred
Master’s in Social Work, Psychology or related field.
