is currently recruiting an experienced Adjunct faculty member in the Dental Assistant Certificate Program who exhibits strong communication skills and is willing to train students to become Dental Assistants.
Candidates must have experience teaching in a classroom or synchronous environment and a minimum of 2 years in Dental Practice. This part‑time teaching position begins immediately and will involve instruction in the classroom, online, and a laboratory setting. You should be fully committed to the mission and values of Medical Training Institute of Orlando.
Job Summary
Teaches, evaluates, and supervises students during classroom, lab, and examination periods on a part‑time basis.
General Accountabilities
Initiates, facilitates, and moderates classroom discussions.
Prepares course materials, such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
Copies and distributes classroom materials.
Informs students of procedures for completing and submitting classwork.
Returns assignments to students in accordance with established deadlines.
Supervises students' fieldwork, internship, and research work.
Schedules and maintains regular office hours.
Prepares and/or proctors examinations.
Evaluates and grades students' class work, assignments, and papers.
Prepares and delivers lectures on relevant topics.
Collaborates with colleagues to address teaching and research issues.
Advises students on academic and vocational curricula and career issues.
Plans, evaluates, and revises curricula, course content, course materials, and methods of instruction.

Job Qualifications
Education: Dentist, Dental Hygienist in a field related to course instruction.
Experience: Successful completion of applicable licenses, professional credentials, or certifications with at least five years of experience.
