Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Loan Officer at Hartford Funding, Ltd. The Loan Officer will be responsible for assisting clients with the mortgage process by assessing their financial needs, providing recommendations, and helping them navigate loan options. Daily tasks include reviewing financial documents, conducting loan underwriting, originating mortgage loans, and delivering exceptional customer service. The role is based in Woodbury, NY with flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

Experience in Loan Origination and working as a Loan Officer

Strong background in Finance and financial documentation

Skills in Underwriting and evaluating loan applications

Exceptional Customer Service and communication abilities

Knowledge of mortgage regulations and product options

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred

Proficiency in loan processing systems and familiarity with compliance standards

Strong organizational and time-management skills
