A Day in the Life of an Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) We give you all of the tools you need to succeed and grow into a Branch Manager position. As an entry‑level ABM, you will go through an 18–24 month on‑the‑job paid training program to learn all aspects of branch operations and management. After training, you will manage your own branch. Promotion to Branch Manager typically requires relocation, but we provide a full relocation package for those moves. Your main focus is helping customers meet their financial goals by originating new loan business, educating them on consumer lending services, and guiding them through the loan application process. You evaluate loan applications, perform risk analysis, make credit decisions, administer loan closings, process insurance claims, recruit and train staff, and develop sales plans. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Finance, Sales, or related field preferred).
1 year or more of customer‑facing sales experience preferred, but not required.
Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong communication, and customer‑relations skills.
Ability to work well independently and as a team member in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
Meet acceptable standards for criminal background and credit history; pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products.
Willingness and ability to relocate for promotion into a Branch Manager role; full relocation package provided for moves more than 50 miles.
