General Warehouse Worker / Sanitation Worker / Product Mover / Stager
(forklift experience recommended but not required) for a leading client in
Houston, TX 77060 . Shift:
1st Shift Position Type:
Contract-to-Hire
Job Description: This position supports warehouse operations by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, moving and staging products, and assisting with general warehouse tasks. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to support operations as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform general warehouse duties, including cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, and common areas.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Move, stage, and organize products and materials throughout the warehouse.
Load, unload, and transport products to designated storage or staging areas.
Operate a forklift as needed (if qualified) to move materials safely.
Assist with material handling and basic inventory organization as needed.
Follow all safety procedures while working around equipment and foot traffic.
Support warehouse and production operations by completing additional tasks as assigned.
Perform other duties as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
General warehouse and sanitation experience preferred
Forklift experience recommended but not required
Safety awareness and compliance
Dependability and punctuality
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Physical ability to lift, move, and stand for extended periods
Organization and productivity skills
Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment
Basic documentation or data entry skills a plus
