Direct Support - East Meadow Devereux is recruiting for a Direct Support - East Meadow role located in Rutland, MA. The pay ranges from $20.50 to $23.87 per hour, depending on education and experience. Sign‑on bonus of $1,000 and an additional $250 bonus for MAP certified candidates.

Responsibilities

Passionate about working with and helping youth.

Responsible for the safety and security of all youth as assigned, providing direct supervision.

Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.

Engage with youth in a meaningful and positive manner, teaching and prompting appropriate behaviors, and providing positive reinforcement.

Teach and assist with activities of daily living (ADL) and living skills.

Maintain proper documentation, including progress notes and incident reports.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older.

Valid driver's license required.

High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

Previous experience working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional, or behavioral disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders preferred.

Must be able to attend a 2‑week paid orientation Monday‑Friday, 8 AM‑4 PM, in Rutland, MA.

Must be MAPS certified or able to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
