American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Olathe, Kansas.

Shift: 12 hours, nights
Employment Type: Travel
Responsibilities
Position is in a 300-bed acute care hospital on the Cardiac Telemetry Unit
Telemetry nursing role with 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730)
Weekend rotation is required
No on-call responsibilities
Must float to all acute care units as needed
Patient caseload includes post-procedure TR Bands, management of cardiac drips, and Tikosyn / Sotalol initiation
Uses Epic EMR system
Initial orientation includes days at main campus and site-specific training
Must work one major holiday from each set : Thanksgiving (Eve, Day, or Day after), Christmas (Eve or Day), and New Year's (Eve or Day)
Nicotine-free work environment
Epic EMR training provided if unable to test out
Team includes support from Director of Nursing and orientation staff
Requirements
Active KS or compact RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year recent telemetry nursing experience required
Experience managing TR Bands, cardiac drips including Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, Cardizem, and Tikosyn / Sotalol initiation
2-5 years of telemetry experience preferred
