POSITION SUMMARY
:
The Patient Accounts Representative (PAR) is responsible for the registration of new patients, insurance verification and account counseling.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent, required; Proven experience as a patient account representative or similar role, preferred; Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion; Highly organized and detail oriented; particularly in regards to time management; Ability to prioritize key objectives while performing daily tasks as well as the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills; Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to effectively utilize applicable electronic systems and programs.
WORK SCHEDULE
:
Monday - Thursday 7:00AM - 5:00PM, Friday 8:00AM - 12:00PM
