We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper to support our clients by managing day-to-day financial activities, completing accurate monthly close processes, and providing clear, reliable financial reporting. This role is ideal for an experienced bookkeeping professional who enjoys detail-oriented work, thrives in a structured environment, and takes pride in producing error‑free results for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze client financial data with accuracy and attention to detail
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
Complete month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor payments, invoicing, and collections
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain the chart of accounts
Ensure proper account classifications and coding
Communicate with clients to answer financial questions and provide clarity on reports
Maintain confidentiality of client financial information at all times
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent bookkeeping experience
Strong understanding of bookkeeping processes and financial reporting
Advanced experience with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Quicken, or similar accounting platforms
Excellent time‑management and organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret financial statements
Strong accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
