Greenway Technologies is seeking an experienced
Controller / Senior Bookkeeper
to oversee and manage the company’s day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who is comfortable working in a growing, multi-state organization and partnering closely with leadership to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Experience with
NetSuite and QuickBooks
is a strong plus, as Greenway operates in a dynamic construction/service environment with evolving financial systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all general ledger activity, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and cash flow tracking
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and applicable federal and state regulations
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for leadership decision‑making
Maintain and improve accounting processes, workflows, and documentation
Coordinate with external partners including auditors, tax professionals, and banking institutions
Assist with system management and optimization within NetSuite and/or QuickBooks
Support job costing, WIP tracking, and reporting (construction/service environment experience preferred)
Qualifications
3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or controller‑level experience
Strong working knowledge of
QuickBooks ;
NetSuite experience highly preferred
Experience preparing financial statements and managing month‑end close
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Construction, service, or project‑based accounting experience is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
