Position Summary The CNC Machinist will independently and safely set up and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis equipment to produce complex finished products.

Essential Functions

Read and understand process travelers, setup journals, tooling sheets, and operation sheets to produce complex finished product.

Make tooling adjustments and program offsets as necessary.

Accurately inspect work using instruments including OD & ID gaging, indicators, micrometers, height stands and verniers.

Perform daily TPM responsibilities.

Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area.

Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations. Wear necessary personal protective equipment as required.

Actively participate in cross‑training, cost savings and team activities to improve processes.

Maintain appropriate tact and diplomacy in dealings with co‑workers, team members and supervisors.

Experience and Education

Minimum of 5 years of aerospace CNC machining experience required.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Degree/certificate from vocational school or college program is a plus, but extensive experience may substitute for education.

Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Demands The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to reach with hands and arms, walk, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.

Work Authorization US Person (Green Card Holder or United States Citizen) due to government contracts.

Compensation $40,000 - $100,000 per year. Compensation may be adjusted based on level of experience, overtime and shift.
