About the Role We are hiring an experienced
Foreman / Senior Electrician
to lead crews on large-scale
commercial new construction
projects. This is a hands‑on field leadership role responsible for safety, quality, productivity, and crew coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise journeymen, apprentices, and helpers
Assign daily tasks, manage manpower, and adjust sequencing to meet schedules
Mentor apprentices and enforce jobsite rules and professional conduct
Work Planning & Execution
Plan and layout work using drawings and field conditions
Coordinate with other trades to prevent conflicts
Lead daily huddles and task planning meetings
Track progress and resolve field issues proactively
Technical Oversight
Oversee installation of commercial electrical systems, including:
Switchgear, panels, and transformers
Lighting and lighting controls
Fire alarm systems (as applicable)
Feeders, branch circuits, grounding, and underground work
Ensure compliance with NEC, project specs, and quality standards
Support inspections, punch lists, and project closeout
Safety & Coordination
Enforce OSHA and jobsite safety policies
Conduct pre-task planning and safety briefings
Serve as on‑site electrical contact with inspectors and other trades
Communicate manpower needs and progress updates to leadership
Forecast material needs and coordinate deliveries
Complete daily reports, timecards, and progress documentation
Qualifications
10+ years of commercial electrical construction experience
2+ years as a Foreman or Lead Electrician
Strong knowledge of NEC and commercial electrical systems
Ability to read blueprints, one-lines, and schematics
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Physical Requirements
Work from ladders, lifts, and elevated positions
Lift up to 75 lbs
Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching
Seniority level Mid‑Senior level
