We are pleased to announce the following open position of
FT
NURSING SCHEDULER
The
NURSING SCHEDULER
performs the scheduling and staffing function for Nursing Services for the hospital. Ensures the facility is properly staffed at all times. Creates a monthly and daily schedule for Nursing Services staff, including Nurses and Mental Health Associates. Performs other clerical duties for the Director of Nursing. May be used as a Mental Health Associate on a unit as needed. The Mental Health Associate provides direct care to children, adolescents and adult patients with psychiatric disorders to ensure the safety and well being of the patients. MHAs have the primary responsibility for ensuring the patient’s safety on the unit.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelors of psychology preferred.
Minimum of 1 year healthcare experience preferred.
Minimum of 1 year Staffing Coordinator experience with scheduling staff work schedules preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Prefer experience in a psychiatric hospital setting as a Mental Health Tech working with children, adolescents and/or adults.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products preferred.
