Part Time Food Service Specialist - Marketplace/Bistro

Part Time Food Service Specialist – Marketplace/Bistro Conference and Dining Services at Lorain County Community College in Elyria, Ohio is hiring part‑time team members who enjoy working with diverse groups of people in a fast‑paced environment across various hospitality settings.

Compensation Pay range: $15.13 per hour (minimum starting rate $15.13). Salary will be based on skills and experience.

Available Shifts Flexible part‑time shifts available Monday through Sunday. Employees may be scheduled for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Roles & Responsibilities

Cross‑trained to work in the following positions:

LCCC Starbucks – Barista training provided

LCCC Marketplace – Cashier, food prep, line cook, dishwasher, runner

LCCC Conference Services – Server, bartender, cashier; line cook, food prep, dishwasher, stocking, runner; furniture and equipment set‑up & tear‑down

Requirements

Reliable transportation.

High degree of sanitation and personal hygiene.

Ability to follow verbal or written instructions.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Entry level; no previous experience required.
