Maintenance Technician The Collins | Myrtle Beach, SC
The Collins, a premier apartment community in Myrtle Beach, is seeking an experienced
Maintenance Technician

Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of apartment or multifamily maintenance experience (required)
EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) – required
CPO Certification – required
High school diploma or GED
Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
Ability to respond to on‑call and after‑hours maintenance emergencies
Own basic maintenance tools and have reliable transportation
Strong communication and customer service skills
Physical & Compliance Requirements
Ability to walk the property, climb stairs and ladders, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing regulations
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on buildings, grounds, and amenities
Complete service requests efficiently and professionally
Prepare vacant apartments for new move‑ins (turns/make‑readies)
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls, including after‑hours
Maintain inventory and proper care of tools, equipment, and supplies
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
