Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Oak Ridge, TN
Pay Range: $18-20 per hour DOE
What You’ll Do:
Perform a variety of clerical accounting tasks, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), invoicing, and general ledger support.
Play an active role in identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation within the accounting department.
Support HR functions such as scheduling interviews, managing employee onboarding paperwork, and maintaining HR records.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of accounting and HR processes.
Utilize Microsoft Office—especially advanced Excel skills—to analyze data, generate reports, and streamline tasks.
Work within ERP systems (other than QuickBooks) to manage accounting workflows.
What We’re Looking For:
At least 1 year of experience in a similar accounting or clerical role.
Strong proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Comfortable navigating ERP systems beyond QuickBooks.
