Finance Analyst Staff - Level 4 Location Fort Worth TX

What You Will Be Doing As a Finance Analyst Staff supporting the F‑35 Program Finance team, you will play a critical role in partnering with Development Responsible Performing Teams (RPTs) to ensure accurate financial execution, Earned Value Management compliance, and high‑quality program performance reporting. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities while working with key financial tools such as Cobra, Empower, PM Compass, and SAP. You will support estimate‑at‑completion (EAC) development, baseline management, metric analysis, and preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance deliverables. Your work will help shape financial insights presented to internal leadership and external customers. This is a high‑impact role for a proactive, technically skilled finance professional who thrives in a fast‑paced aerospace program environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support all Estimate‑at‑Completion (EAC) activities, including data collection, model updates, variance analysis, and review readiness.

Perform budget baselining, change control, and financial integration across engineering (E&T) labor control accounts.

Manage EVMS responsibilities, ensuring compliance with program requirements, corporate standards, and government expectations.

Conduct data mining, trend analysis, and financial metrics reporting to generate insights for leadership and customer updates.

Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly program performance reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate with RPTs, Program Management, Engineering, and other functional teams to ensure alignment on financial status and forecasts.

Support ad‑hoc analysis and special projects requiring detailed financial evaluation and clear presentation of results.

Maintain strong data integrity within Cobra, Empower, PM Compass, SAP, and related financial systems.

Who You Are You are a highly analytical and detail‑oriented finance professional who takes pride in producing accurate, reliable, and timely financial insights. You bring strong experience with EVMS principles and understand how to effectively manage engineering labor control accounts in a complex program environment. You are comfortable navigating multiple financial systems—including Cobra, Empower, PM Compass, and SAP—and you enjoy using data to tell a meaningful story. You meet deadlines with consistency, operate well independently, and thrive in a fast‑paced aerospace setting. As a self‑starter, you anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels. Above all, you are committed to supporting program success through disciplined financial management and high‑quality performance reporting.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college

Experience in MS Excel, developing Pivot Tables, V‑Lookups, and Databases to obtain data and develop reports

Experience Budgeting and Tracking financials

Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) or cost/scheduling

Desired Skills

Experience with Deltek Suite (Cobra and PM Compass)

Familiar with the development of EACs and ETCs

Experience with Systems, Applications, Products Software (SAP)

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and must be able to function independently, consistently meeting deadlines

Must possess and execute strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy and quality of work

Experienced communicator, to interface with senior leadership, Control Account Managers, Program Management leads, and other Program Finance personnel across multiple sites

Experienced in detail‑oriented output and process, in order to function independently, while consistently meeting deadlines

Ability to Work Remotely: Part‑time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
