Attention spring graduates! Catalyst Counseling in Woodinville is hiring for our next cohort of associate clinicians. We have an extensive training program to help new graduates become the next leaders in mental health care. We’re a warm community of nerds and creatives! We treat you like a human – we honor your wisdom and experience, and we work to create a supportive community to help our clinicians thrive.
Please note: For associate clinicians, we are currently hiring for our August 2025 cohort. For fully licensed clinicians, at this time we are only interviewing fully licensed clinicians who want to attend and participate in our associate training cohort.
Our agency works with teens 15+ and adults.
We handle all the back end billing, insurance, marketing, and administrative tasks so you can focus on your clients. We offer full benefits (medical, dental, CEU fund) to clinicians with a full time caseload. Our practice has established referral sources and a great community presence — plus we help you create a professional presence so that you are more consistently working with clients within your practice focus.
Please note: This is a hybrid in-person and telehealth position. To be considered for this position you must plan to be located in Washington State by the start date and have a private, professional space to conduct video therapy sessions.

We’re looking for a therapist to join our practice to provide individual and/or couples therapy. The therapist will provide culturally humble and LGBTQIA+ affirming mental health services to individuals and couples who are experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to life situations or mental health concerns. The therapist who joins our team at Catalyst Counseling should:
Be either fully licensed (LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, PhD, etc) or have an associate license (LSWAIC, LMFTA, LMHCA, etc) in the state of Washington. Clinical supervision is included for associate clinicians.
Did you get licensed via work in medical social work, inpatient care, or case management? You can still apply even if you don’t have experience providing psychotherapy. We ask these clinicians to participate in our training program for a year under an associate contract, then once the clinician has developed the clinical skills for independent work, we would transition them to a licensed contract.
Be comfortable with learning a basic electronic health record and a paperless office.
Therapists are encouraged to come with a niche or specialization of your own to contribute to the uniqueness of our practice. Double points if you have fluency in Geek, Gamer, or Tech culture.
Full time position available. Minimum 18 clients per week.
We offer:
Consult groups and training opportunities are included – and most offer CEU credit.
Weekly clinical supervision is included for associates.
An Employee relationship. You will not be a contractor, so you don’t need to manage tax withholdings or have a business license.
We manage billing and insurance paneling.
Benefits such as medical and dental insurance, paid sick time, a CEU fund, and others.
We strongly encourage people of color, women, LGBTQ+ folks, disabled individuals and folks who have been consumers of mental health services to apply. We celebrate being an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate in employment on the basis of any protected status or other non-merit factors.
