Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Commercial Flooring Project Manager
to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee commercial flooring projects from pre-construction planning through final installation. You will work closely with our estimating team, field supervisors, and clients to ensure that each project is executed with precision and professionalism.
Once a project is awarded, you’ll be responsible for reviewing the proposal package, entering and managing jobs in RFMS, placing material orders, tracking deliveries, setting schedules, and coordinating with field managers to ensure seamless execution. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a solid background in commercial flooring or construction project management.
Key Responsibilities
Manage commercial flooring projects from contract award through completion
Collaborate with the estimating team to review project scopes and budgets
Enter and manage job data using RFMS (training provided if needed)
Order and track flooring materials and supplies
Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with field teams
Communicate clearly with clients, contractors, and internal staff
Monitor job progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely delivery
Maintain accurate documentation and project reporting
Qualifications
In person position. Needs to be able to commute to laurel Maryland
4–5 years of experience in commercial flooring
or
construction project management
(required)
Strong skills in
communication ,
coordination , and
contract management
Ability to multitask ,
prioritize , and manage multiple projects simultaneously
High attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach
Familiarity with RFMS or similar project management software (preferred)
Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus but not required
