PRN techs RPSGT Needed

MedBridge Healthcare is seeking experienced RPSGTs or RTs to work at MedBridge HealthCare Lab located in Bradenton, FL. The position will provide sleep services as needed basis from 8pm-7am with competitive hourly rates depending on experience and patient ratio.

MedBridge is a leading provider of sleep laboratory management services and sleep therapy. MedBridge partners with hospitals and physician practices to offer comprehensive fully-integrated services for patient identification, testing, diagnosis, treatment and long-term care management of patients with sleep disorders.

Responsibilities will include:

Facilitating tests and collecting data

Preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results

Following proper polysomnographic procedures including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks

Scoring clinical events such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulating final data to be submitted for further review

Ensuring compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or higher education level

Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program

Certified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist

Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required

Physical Demands of the Job:

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The employee is required to use his/her hands to operate office equipment.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
