MedBridge Healthcare LLC . MedBridge is seeking experienced RPSGTs or RTs to work at Tidelands within the Georgetown Hospital System. The position provides sleep services on an as needed basis from 8pm-7am. Competitive hourly rates are available, depending on experience and patient ratio.
Must be able to work Sunday and/or Monday nights as PRN! #urgentlyhiring
Responsibilities
Facilitating tests and collecting data.
Preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results.
Following proper polysomnographic procedures including use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks.
Scoring of clinical events such as respiratory and cardiac episodes and tabulating final data for review.
Compliance with regulations and safety laws.
Job Requirements
High School diploma or higher education level.
Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program.
Certification as Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Current BCLS certification.
Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required.
Physical Demands Of The Job
Employee regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; vision required includes close, distance, peripheral, and ability to adjust focus.
Use hands to operate office equipment.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
