Job Summary

As a Contractor within a leading Financial Services organization, you will apply strategic and analytical skills to solve complex business challenges. This role supports the Transaction Products team within the Global Payment Network, focusing on the modernization and adoption of payment network transaction capabilities across proprietary authorization and settlement platforms, both domestically and internationally.

You will act as a product steward, accountable for product performance, risk considerations, and future enhancements, while working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Strategy

• Develop and execute product strategies that drive growth, profitability, and competitive advantage
• Support product roadmaps for payment and transaction capabilities
• Analyze and evaluate pricing structures and product viability
• Lead product-level analytics and modeling

Payments & Risk Management

• Support transaction capabilities within payment networks (authorization, settlement, processing)
• Identify market and operational risk drivers impacting payment products
• Develop and test risk models using data-driven analysis
• Monitor performance and recommend improvements

Execution & Delivery

• Translate business objectives into clear product and business requirements
• Manage sequencing and delivery of product initiatives
• Partner with technology teams to support execution and platform modernization

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product, IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business partners
• Communicate insights, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership

Go-To-Market Support

• Support B2B go-to-market strategies for payment products
• Provide insights to inform product positioning and customer experience design

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Economics, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or similar)
• 2+ years of experience in Payments, preferably involving transaction processing or payment networks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with metrics, data analysis, and performance reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business or a quantitative field
• 5+ years of experience in analytics, strategy, or product-focused roles
• 2+ years of experience in Financial Services, Banking, FinTech, or Payments
• Experience working with major payment networks (e.g., card networks)
