About the Position
The company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple large-scale, utility solar projects throughout Central and Southern Illinois. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving project execution, mentoring and directing Project Managers, and ensuring the overall financial health and successful delivery of assigned projects.
The Senior Project Manager will act as a key representative of the company in client, owner, subcontractor, and stakeholder meetings, ensuring alignment with project goals, schedules, and budgets. This role is ideal for a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, renewable energy construction environment and has a strong background in utility-scale solar.
Requirements
Experience:
5+ years of experience managing utility-scale solar construction projects
Demonstrated success overseeing multiple large projects simultaneously
Industry Background:
Electrical contracting and renewable energy (utility-scale solar required)
Leadership:
Proven ability to lead and mentor Project Managers and project teams
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Project Responsibilities:
Full P&L responsibility and financial oversight
Schedule management, risk mitigation, and performance reporting
Experience representing the contractor in executive-level and client-facing meetings
Location:
Projects primarily located in Central and Southern Illinois
Ability to travel to project sites as required
Benefits
Base Salary: $150,000 – $170,000
(commensurate with experience)
