Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

· CPA or CMA designation preferred

· Minimum of 7 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis

· Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices

· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong leadership and communication abilities

· Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills

Day to Day Responsibilities:

The Cost Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the organizations cost accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of cost data, and analyzing financial information to support strategic decision-making. This role involves developing cost models, preparing reports, and collaborating with multiple departments to optimize cost efficiency.

Manage the cost accounting team and workflow

· Analyze production costs and identify discrepancies

· Prepare timely and accurate cost reports for management

· Develop and maintain cost accounting policies and procedures

· Collaborate with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities

· Conduct variance analysis and budget forecasting
