Day Shift About Us: At Learning Tree PPEC Tampa, LLC, we specialize in caring for medically complex children in a safe, nurturing environment. Our Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) center is open Monday through Saturday, providing up to 12 hours of high-quality nursing care, therapy, and developmental support. passionate, dedicated, and caring Director of Nursing (DON)
to lead our nursing team. This is more than just a leadership role; it’s a chance to create meaningful change in the lives of children and families while guiding and mentoring a team of compassionate healthcare professionals. What You’ll Do: Lead, mentor, and support a talented nursing team. Oversee daily clinical operations of our PPEC center. Coordinate and implement individualized Plans of Care in collaboration with physicians. Ensure safe, high-quality care while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. Partner with the Administrator on staff development, training, and quality improvement. Serve as a hands-on leader by providing direct patient care when needed. What We’re Looking For: Current
Florida RN license
and
CPR certification . At least
2 years of pediatric nursing
experience (including 6+ months with medically fragile children in a PPEC, NICU, PICU, or similar setting within the past 5 years). Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Compassion, patience, and dedication to making a positive impact. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates strongly encouraged to apply! Why Join Us?
