Job Title: Sr. Hardware Tech - Devices

Location: Columbus, OH
Salary: $68k-$72k + full benefits and OT
Requirement: 3+ years of experience in electronic components/PCB connections. SMT soldering skills preferred-

Position Overview
We are a growing robotics organization paving the way for AI driven hardware and manufacturing solutions. Due to continued growth we are now seeking a skilled Hardware Technician to join our team. This team member supports the configuration of hardware assemblies and repair/troubleshooting of small, fragile components. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our products through hands-on technical work and collaboration with engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic device issues at the component level.
• Utilize PCB design and repair techniques for hardware modifications.
• Perform SMT soldering and rework of electronic components as needed.
• Conduct mechanical assembly and disassembly of devices to facilitate repairs and upgrades.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation of repairs and modifications made on devices.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve hardware design and manufacturability.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in PCB connections and component level troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with electronic devices.
• Proficiency in soldering and electronic assembly techniques.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line operation.
• Experience with connectivity testing and ping tests for networked devices.
• Knowledge of production processes and best practices in electronic manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret technical prints and documentation.
