Radiation Oncology Veterinary Technician Proposed Schedule: Mon‑Thu 8a‑5p
Radiation oncology technicians need to have critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask within a strong team environment. This team focuses on developing strong client and patient relationships because many cases require daily treatments. You must be able to drive the MedVet experience of excellent patient care and compassion.
What you’ll do
Assist with radiation treatments and CT
Client communication over the phone and face to face
Manage appointments and scheduling
Accurate and thorough documentation for medical records
Ability to work in a team
Ability to multi‑task
Who you are
State Registered Veterinary Technician license required
Prior veterinary experience required; previous oncology or specialty experience desired
Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
Flexibility with work hours and ability to work additional hours when necessary
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
