As our Family Medicine Faculty, you will serve as a preceptor to resident physicians who provide medical care in our community‑based outpatient clinic as well as inpatient care at our 450‑bed flagship hospital in Newport News, VA. Join an established team that shares a passion for teaching and is committed to producing highly trained and innovative family physicians. Previous faculty experience is welcomed.

One of the oldest, well‑developed family medicine residency programs in the country that promotes evidence‑based medicine with 13 residents per PGY year.

Osteopathic recognition through the ACGME with an integrated osteopathic curriculum, featuring both DO and MD faculty and an emphasis on quality patient care while individualizing each resident’s education.

Services a broad spectrum of patients in the community addressing disease prevention, disease management, health maintenance, and patient education.

EPIC links all of our OP & IP facilities within the health system.

4 weeks scheduled PTO, 1 week CME, 5 scheduled holidays.
