We are seeking experienced Murex Accounting (Finance) Consultant to work in New York in a client-servicing role to drive one of our client's Murex projects.
Key Responsibilities:

• Advising on Murex best practices in the P&L processes, position management, accounting, hedge accounting and financial reporting. 
  
• Work on accounting for trade and position configuration. 
  
• Accounting configuration: Rules, Filters etc.
  
• Provide liquidation module support- Translating these requirements into appropriate solutions. 
  
• Update documentation covering functional / technical aspects of Murex platforms and business processes. 
  
• Assist on the testing approach and design of test cases.
  
• Training users on basic use of the system, new functionality, etc.
  

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree, preferably from Finance, Business or Accounting.
  
• Minimum of 3-5 years of Murex Accounting/ Finance experience in the capital markets industry.
  
• Knowledge of accounting standards for treasury products. 
  
• Experience on accounting and liquidation module in configuration or support in Murex3.1 
  
• Exposure to complete trade life cycle. 
  
• Must be able to convey plans, issues and concerns to clients and team members in clear, logical and concise manner. 
  
• Strong time management skills and demonstrable problem solving/analytical skills. 
  
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
