UMH Sparrow Lansing Main Hospital is inviting applications for a full-time, Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist (MD) to become part of a dedicated 3-physician / 2-APP IR team in Lansing, MI. This position involves providing hospital-based interventional radiology services with a day-shift schedule and Q3 call coverage. The practice is open to providers willing to travel if they can commit to covering 3+ weeks per month.
Job Responsibilities:- Perform interventional radiology procedures including, but not limited to:
- Angioplasty
- Stent placement
- Embolization
- Needle biopsy
- Thrombolysis
- Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)
- Participate in the call schedule, providing Q3 coverage on weekdays and weekends.
- Support adult (primarily geriatric) patient demographic.
- Collaborate with a manager and two APPs to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Board Certified in Interventional Radiology (Required)
- Active State Medical License in Michigan (Required)
- BLS and ACLS Certifications (Required)
- Locum providers must be local; mileage reimbursement applies (Required)
- Clean malpractice and license history (Highly Preferred)
- Board Certification in Interventional Radiology
