Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner PRN

Overview
Become a vital member of Concentra’s patient care team as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner on a PRN basis. Work Wednesdays and Fridays in Stockton, covering two sites (East and West). Provide exceptional care to employees and improve the health of America’s workforce, one patient at a time.
Responsibilities
Examine patients, compile medical data, and document physical examination findings.
Administer or order diagnostic tests such as x‑ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory studies.
Interpret diagnostic test results and identify deviations from normal values.
Perform therapeutic procedures including injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
Instruct and counsel patients on compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in continuity of care.
Assist in the development and revision of policies affecting medical practice judgment and quality of occupational health care.
Assist in the development and presentation of education and instructional programs.
Provide excellent customer service to all patients, clients, and peers while incorporating Orange Book values.
Demonstrate time management, prioritization, and multitasking in a busy clinical environment.
Adapt to changing business needs such as scheduling and working additional hours or shifts when appropriate.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related health field from an accredited institution.
Current licensure in the state of jurisdiction.
Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
Board certification preferred.
Occupational medicine experience preferred, but training will be provided to qualified candidates.
FMCSA NRCME required prior to start date (Concentra provides this CME).
DEA registration required prior to start date.
Job‑Related Experience At least one year of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting.

Compensation Hourly base rate $75.00–$85.00, depending on job‑related factors and applicable law. Selecting a compensation plan is optional at time of application.
