Responsibilities
Participate in the origination and end-to-end execution of M&A deals
Assist in the preparation of pitch materials and transaction documentation (including teaser, information memorandum, management presentation, process letter, internal presentations, and market debt sounding materials among others)
Assist in the development of financial models, capital structure analysis and valuation exercises including most common valuation methodologies (DCF, transaction multiples, trading multiples) and debt capacity analyses.
Coordinate data room population, investors access and manage Q&A process
Conduct comprehensive industry and market research to identify potential targets and understand industry trends
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law or Engineering
A minimum of 1 - 2 years of M&A and / or PFA experience in an investment bank or boutique
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset.
Hard-working and highly motivated team player
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to learn on the job and excellent interpersonal skills
Bilingual: English and Spanish required
SIE, Series 79, and Series 63 are required or must be obtained within six months of employment

With respect to this position in our Houston Office, the expected base salary ranges from $95,000 to $105,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
