Reports To: IT Infrastructure Manager

Location: Delray Beach, FL

Type: Full-Time | On-Site | Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY The IT Infrastructure Support Specialist is a hands-on, high-impact role responsible for supporting the daily technological operations of Pero Family Farms. This position ensures that our networks, systems, databases, and devices remain secure, reliable, and optimized across both corporate and manufacturing environments.

From troubleshooting desktop issues to managing databases and network infrastructure, this role touches every corner of our organization. It is a role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem solving, and understands how technology drives operational excellence.

Requirements JOB OVERVIEW Technical Support

Provide daily support for desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and business-critical applications.

Troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and hardware issues to minimize operational downtime.

Support corporate and production teams to ensure seamless technology performance.

Database & Infrastructure Management

Administer SQL Server and Oracle environments, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and backup procedures.

Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure and VPN solutions for secure, scalable connectivity.

Support IoT devices and ensure consistent monitoring for performance and security compliance.

Network Security

Implement and maintain firewalls, antivirus platforms, intrusion detection systems, and other protective controls.

Conduct audits and risk assessments to safeguard systems, networks, and sensitive company data.

Software Administration & Optimization

Support Microsoft Power Apps, SharePoint, and OneDrive, including user permissions and workflow improvements.

Collaborate with end-users and IT leadership to enhance software tools that improve productivity and workflow efficiency.

Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate tasks and optimize system processes.

Telephony & Surveillance

Manage and maintain VoIP/PBX systems and IP-based security camera networks.

Ensure all telephony and surveillance technologies meet operational and security standards.

Continuous Improvement & Collaboration

Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technology improvements.

Support infrastructure projects and large-scale IT initiatives that advance organizational performance.

Provide on-call support as needed to maintain business continuity and system uptime.

QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field — or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 3 years of technical support experience, preferably across both corporate and manufacturing environments.

Technical Expertise

Proficient with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, SQL Server, Oracle, networking technologies, IoT systems, VPNs, and cloud platforms.

Experience with Power Apps, SharePoint, OneDrive, and PowerShell scripting.

Knowledge of copper/fiber cabling, wireless network design, and hardware deployment.

Certifications Required

Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals

Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Military Experience Applicable military experience will be acknowledged, including:

Army: MOS 25B, 25H, 25D

Air Force: 1D7XX

Navy: IT rate B460

Professional Skills

Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, multi-environment settings.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Mix of desk-based support and hands-on field work in both office and manufacturing environments.

Occasional out-of-state travel for projects or support needs.

On-call responsibilities during system outages or critical events.

Active engagement with hardware, cabling, networking equipment, and IoT devices.
